Queensland’s Working With Children Card, the Blue Card, is different from a National Police Check. In many cases, we believe it is important for people who are seeking a Blue Card, to also have a Police Check. This is because the Blue Card Police Check (which theoretically is ongoing) focusses on child related offences. So potentially it is possible for a criminal (with a no children related conviction) to hold a Blue Card.
